Chocolate Strawberry Oreo Crabs

Ingredients 

  • 50 grams dark chocolate
  • 3 strawberries, large, pointy
  • 10 candy eyes, mini
  • 5 Oreo cookies

Instructions 

  • Melt the dark chocolate.
  • Place the dark chocolate in a piping utensil or bag.
  • Trace the outline of an Oreo on parchment paper.
  • Turn the paper over.
  • Pipe the 8 legs (and the pinchers on the two front legs) around the outline you just traced.
  • Arrange the Oreo on top of the legs.
  • Pipe chocolate on top of the Oreo.
  • Halve the strawberries and remove the leaves.
  • Dry the strawberries off on a paper towel.
  • Place the strawberry halves (cut side down) on top of the chocolate-covered Oreo.
  • Top with two candy eyes at the pointy end of the strawberry.
  • Allow to set.
  • Carefully lift the crab away from the parchment paper.
  • Serve.
