Your kids will love these adorable Chocolate Strawberry Oreo Crabs.

Made with only a few ingredients, this fun recipe is easy to make and sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face.

Serve these delicious chocolate strawberry Oreos on a platter with Digestive cookie crumbs for sand. For an unforgettable dessert, you can also top them onto cakes or ice cream.

You can even serve them at themed parties or Summer gatherings.

Chocolate Strawberry Oreo Crabs

Ingredients 

  • 50 grams dark chocolate, 1.8oz
  • 3 large, pointy strawberries
  • 10 mini candy eyes
  • 5 Oreo cookies
  • parchment paper
  • piping utensil / bag

Instructions 

  • Melt the dark chocolate.
  • Place the dark chocolate in a piping utensil or piping bag.
  • Trace the outline of an Oreo on parchment paper.
  • Turn the paper over.
  • Pipe the 8 legs (and the pinchers on the two front legs) around the outline you just traced.
  • Place the Oreo on top of the legs.
  • Cover the Oreo with chocolate.
  • Halve the strawberries and remove the leaves.
  • Dry the strawberries off on a piece of kitchen towel.
  • Place a half-strawberry (cut side down) on top of the chocolate-covered Oreo.
  • Top with two candy eyes at the pointy end of the strawberry.
  • Allow to set.
  • Carefully lift the crab away from the parchment paper.
  • Serve.
