Equipment

Ingredients 

  • 100 grams dark chocolate
  • 8 chocolate sticks, or pretzel sticks
  • 25 grams mini chocolate buttons
  • 8 star candies

Instructions 

  • Melt the dark chocolate.
  • Pour the chocolate into a piping utensil / bag.
  • Place the chocolate stick (or pretzel stick) onto parchment paper.
  • Pipe melted chocolate from the top of the stick to each side, making a bigger and bigger curve the further down the stick you go.
  • Stop once you have gotten ⅞ of the way (you want the tree to have a trunk).
  • Top with a star-shaped candy and mini chocolate button ‘lights.’
  • Allow to set.

    Hi, thanks for the cute recipe. I am planning to make this for a party . Can we make it before 1 day and preserve please? Will it melt down . Suggestions please.

      Thank you so much! You can absolutely make these the day before. Depending on the temperature where you are, you can either keep them covered on your kitchen table or store them in the fridge. Even the freezer will be fine (just take them out 30 minutes before serving). Enjoy! x Sine
