Ingredients

  • 150 grams 5 oz dark chocolate (or chocolate chips)
  • 10 large strawberries
  • fresh basil leaves
  • piping utensil / bag
  • skewers
  • parchment paper

Instructions

  • Melt the dark chocolate.
  • Add the melted chocolate to a piping utensil / bag.
  • Place a skewer on parchment paper.
  • Pipe a large chocolate disc on top of the skewer.
  • Cut the top pointy end of a strawberry and place it in the middle of the chocolate disc.
  • Slice the remainder of the strawberry (I used two strawberries to make each flower).
  • Arrange five strawberry slices around the center.
  • Top with a basil leaf.
  • Allow to set.
  • To make the basil chocolate leaves, place basil on parchment paper and pipe a chocolate frame around it. Allow the chocolate to set and arrange the leaves around the flower skewers.
