Chocolate Strawberries on a Stick
Ingredients
- 150 grams 5 oz dark chocolate (or chocolate chips)
- 10 large strawberries
- fresh basil leaves
- piping utensil / bag
- skewers
- parchment paper
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate.
- Add the melted chocolate to a piping utensil / bag.
- Place a skewer on parchment paper.
- Pipe a large chocolate disc on top of the skewer.
- Cut the top pointy end of a strawberry and place it in the middle of the chocolate disc.
- Slice the remainder of the strawberry (I used two strawberries to make each flower).
- Arrange five strawberry slices around the center.
- Top with a basil leaf.
- Allow to set.
- To make the basil chocolate leaves, place basil on parchment paper and pipe a chocolate frame around it. Allow the chocolate to set and arrange the leaves around the flower skewers.
