Watermelon Feta Appetizer

Ingredients 

  • 18 scoops of watermelon, use a melon baller
  • 150 grams feta
  • 9 slices of cucumber
  • 9 fresh basil, or mint leaves
  • melon baller

Instructions 

  • Slice the cucumber at an angle to get as wide pieces as possible.
  • Use the melon baller to scoop out the watermelon.
  • Cut the feta into pieces similar to the cucumber slices.
  • Place the feta slices on top of the cucumber.
  • Top with basil stems (or thin pieces of cucumber skin for the cherry stems), the two watermelon ‘cherries’, and finally, the fresh basil leaf (or mint leaf).
  • Serve the appetizers as they are, or drizzle them with balsamic glaze or hot honey.
