Easy Tuna Melt Dip With Cheddar

Ingredients 

  • 1 tin of tuna, 185 grams/6.5 oz
  • half a small red onion, chopped finely
  • 100 grams cheddar, 3.5 oz
  • 50 grams 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 2 heaped tablespoons mayonnaise, or sour cream
  • 1 tsp tabasco
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • green onion
  • sea salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • baking dish
  • 1 cucumber
  • 6 stalks celery

Instructions 

  • Turn on the oven to 200ºC (392ºF).
  • Drain the tuna.
  • Shred the cheddar.
  • Mix tuna, red onion, cream cheese, and mayo.
  • Add half the shredded cheddar, paprika, tabasco, sea salt, and pepper to the tuna.
  • Place the tuna mixture in a baking dish.
  • Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  • Bake for approximately 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
  • Sprinkle with chopped green onion.
  • Remove from the oven and serve on a platter with cucumber, celery, carrots, crackers, or tortilla chips.
