Everyone will love these adorable Caprese Bites shaped into hearts, and best of all, they are so easy!

To make them, cut out tortilla wrap hearts and bake them until crispy and golden. Top with a quick avocado cream, mozzarella, tomato, and basil for the ultimate appetizer on Valentine’s Day or for special occasions.

They are best to assemble shortly before plating, but you can prepare all the elements in advance and then drizzle with balsamic glaze and sea salt when you are ready to serve.

To save time, you can skip the avocado cream and use pesto, aioli, or cream cheese.

For other irresistible appetizers, take a look at my smoked salmon bites, tomato and mozzarella skewers, tomato crostini, and tomato flower skewers.

Seven heart-shaped Caprese Bites are arranged on a round white platter, each topped with creamy spread, basil, a heart-shaped mozzarella slice, and a heart-shaped tomato. Three feature basil beneath the cheese; four do not.
