Spooky Salad

- 4 vine tomatoes
- 1 cucumber
- 2 fresh mozzarella balls
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
- sea salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Cut the tomato and arrange on a platter. Top with a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
Slice the mozzarella and use the mini melon baller to cut out eyes and a mouth.
Trim the wavy bottom of the ghosts. I used a cookie cutter, but you can also zig-zag this part with a knife.
Slice the cucumber.
Make a symmetrical indent for the jaw.
Use the metal straw to shape the holes for the eyes.
To shape the teeth, cut two small v-shapes in the jaw.
Make a few turns with a toothpick or lolly stick to make the nose.
Top the tomatoes with the mozzarella ghosts and cucumber skulls.
Fill the ghosts’ scooped eyes and mouths with balsamic glaze.
Drizzle the salad with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt and pepper.
Serve.
