Make five angled cuts with the scissors (petals) about 2-3 cm long (1 inch) along the bottom third of a marshmallow.
Now, cut five petals between and above the previous ones.
Repeat with the top third of the marshmallow.
Finally, make three deep cuts on top of the marshmallow, while turning it.
Use your fingers to gently pull out all the petals.
Insert a canapé stick into the marshmallow flowers.
Serve.
