Keyword: homemade chocolate, thin mints
Servings: 30 chocolates
- 300 grams dark chocolate
- 140 grams powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract edible
- 10 fresh mint leaves finely chopped
Melt the dark chocolate.
Spoon a tablespoon of chocolate into the base of each mold.
Allow the chocolate to set in the fridge.
Mix the powdered sugar, mint extract, finely chopped mint, and milk in a small bowl.
Spoon the mint filling on top of the set chocolate (I use a small cookie scoop for this, but two teaspoons will work, too).
Top with more melted chocolate, making sure the mint layer is covered.
Allow to set for 1 hour.
Remove them carefully and serve.
