Tomato Mozzarella Skewers
These San Marzano and bocconcini skewers make for a simple, yet easy appetizer.

- 15 bocconcini mini mozzarella balls
- 15 San Marzano tomatoes
- 30 fresh basil leaves small
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- sea salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Slice 4-5 cuts ¾ of the way through each tomato.
Halve and slice the bocconcini into 4-5 mm-thick pieces (about 3/16 inch).
Fill the tomato indents with the bocconcini slices.
Add two basil leaves at each end.
Top each appetizer with a skewer.
Arrange the skewers on a platter.
Drizzle with your favorite extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, pepper, and balsamic glaze.
Serve.
