Drain the burrata carefully on a piece of kitchen roll (paper towel).
Place the drained burrata in the middle of a platter (my platter was approximately 20cm/8 inches).
Cut a 3 cm (1 inch) piece of cucumber.
Peel and halve the cucumber lengthwise.
Halve one of the halves again and arrange the slices underneath the cheese to make the snow globe bases.
Cut a small square of cucumber to make a tree trunk and shape three triangles out of cucumber peel. Repeat for a second tree.
Place the tree details on top of a burrata to make the Christmas tree snow globe.
Halve two bocconcini and trim the back so they can lay flat. Repeat for the second snowman.
Place the bocconcini snowmen side by side on the second burrata.
Top with chia seeds for eyes, mouth, and buttons.
Use cucumber peel to make a scarf and trim a small triangle out of carrot for the nose.
Arrange the halved grape tomatoes cut side down on the platter.
Scatter with bocconcini to resemble snow.
Fill any gaps with fresh basil leaves.
When ready to serve, drizzle olive oil and balsamic glaze on the salad.
Season with sea salt and pepper.
