Knocked-out Frankensteins
Cut a line along the top third of the kiwi.
Use a vegetable peeler to remove the kiwi skin underneath the line.
Halve the kiwi and dry it with a piece of kitchen towel.
Cut a v-shape into the middle of the kiwi skin hair.
Melt some dark chocolate.
Use the melted chocolate and a toothpick to shape the eye and mouth details on the Frankensteins.
Stick pretzel stick ends into the side of the kiwis.
Blueberry creepy crawlies
Make sure your blueberries are the same size.
Melt some dark chocolate.
Shape the dark chocolate legs onto parchment paper using a piping utensil or bag.
Top a small blob of chocolate onto the side of a blueberry and stick it together with another blueberry.
Place these on top of the legs you made.
Continue for three or four blueberries (the longer it is, the more fragile it will be).
Use melted chocolate to stick the mini candy eyes onto the first blueberry in line.
Allow to set.
Vampire mouth peppers
Shape a hole in the peppers similar in size to the vampire’s mouth you have.
Remove the insides of the pepper to make room for the vampire’s mouth.
Insert the mouth carefully.
Notes: Be sure to remove the vampire’s mouth before eating.
Watermelon skeletons
Slice the watermelon.
Use the gingerbread man and woman cutter to shape the skeletons.
Dry the fruit with a piece of kitchen towel.
Melt some white chocolate.
Add the chocolate to a piping utensil or bag.
Pipe the skeleton details onto the shaped melon.
Allow to set.
Kiwi berry eyes
Melt some white chocolate.
Using the tip of a small spoon, add a small amount of white chocolate to one end of the berries.
Top with candy eyes and allow to set standing (you can use some foil to shape a little folded holder).
Kiwi mummies
Peel and halve the kiwi.
Dry it off with a piece of kitchen towel.
Melt some white chocolate.
Place the chocolate in a piping utensil / bag.
Pipe the kiwis with the white chocolate to resemble mummy bandages.
Top with candy eyes (you can use some white chocolate to stick them on).
Allow to set.
Kiwi aliens
Peel and halve the kiwi.
Dry it off with a piece of kitchen towel.
Use some leftover melted chocolate to stick on three eyes.
Stick two pretzel stick ends into each side of the kiwi.
Top with a curved sprinkle for the mouth.
Arrange all on a platter and serve.
