Equipment

  • piping utensil or bag
  • parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 250 grams dark chocolate
  • 200 grams chocolate eggs mini
  • 240 grams chocolate eggs medium
  • 50 grams white chocolate
  • 2 candy eyes

Instructions

  • Melt the dark chocolate.
  • Add the melted chocolate to a piping utensil or bag. You may need to work in batches like I did if you use a piping tool and it doesn't all fit at once.
  • Pipe a smaller circle of chocolate onto parchment paper (about 10 cm / 4-5 inches in diameter).
  • Pipe a larger circle around the smaller one (around 22-25 cm / 9-10 inches) to make a chocolate wreath.
  • Fill the space in between the two circles with dark chocolate.
  • Arrange the various-sized chocolate eggs on top of the wreath. You can place them randomly or organize them like I did.
  • Top with two candy eyes and a chocolate nose (use melted chocolate to 'glue' them on).
  • To make the ears melt the white chocolate.
  • Add the melted chocolate to a piping utensil or bag (or spoon it onto parchment paper).
  • Shape the white chocolate into two chocolate ears.
  • Top with two pink chocolate eggs and allow to set.
  • Once set, arrange the bunny ears onto a platter.
  • Top with the chocolate egg wreath.
  • Serve.
