Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Shred the cheddar cheese.
Mix the cheese, flour, and butter in a mini food processor.
Roll out the cheese dough onto a clean kitchen counter so it's about 4-5 mm (1/8 inch) thick.
Cut out the stars with the cookie cutter.
Use your index finger to carefully push through each part of the star until it falls out.
Gather the remaining dough and roll it out again, until you have used it all.
Arrange all the stars on a lined baking sheet.
Poke out the center with a lolly stick (optional).
Bake for 9-10 minutes until slightly golden on the edges.
Allow to cool and serve with your favorite dip!
