Bacon sausages
- 200 grams sausages mini
- 200 grams bacon
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 15 grams coconut sugar or brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon fresh chives chopped
Dip
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
Preheat the oven to 170°C (338°F).
Halve the bacon strips lengthwise.
Wrap each sausage with the bacon halves.
Slide 4-5 wrapped sausages onto a skewer in a single layer.
Place the filled skewers in a baking dish with one side resting on top of the dish, if possible.
Brush the sausages with maple syrup.
Sprinkle coconut sugar on top (about 1/2 teaspoon on each sausage).
Bake for 20-22 minutes until golden and crispy.
Use the grill setting for 1-2 minutes if necessary (but keep an eye on them so they don't burn).
Arrange on a serving dish with your favorite dip.
Garnish with chopped chives.
