A beautiful flower fruit platter recipe using watermelon, cantaloupe, galia and candy eyes. Serve these wonderful tulips as a fruit platter, or make one or two (without the pot) to add to a lunchbox or serve as a fun afternoon snack.

Instructions

1. Slice the watermelon.

2. Use the medium petal cutter to cut buds.

3. Cut half of the buds down the middle, place them on top of an uncut bud, and then spread them out slightly to make a tulip.

4. Slice long thin pieces of galia for the stems and use the small petal cutters to make leaves.

5. Cut the cantaloupe so you have one larger rectangular piece and a smaller rectangular piece for the pot.

6. Arrange the flowers and top with candy eyes and sprinkles for smiles.

Notes

The candy eyes and cookie cutters are all linked in my Shop.
